As a Student Ambassador within the Centre of Inquiry Based Learning in the Arts and Social Sciences I oversaw several projects connected with Inquiry-based learning. A large part of my focus was upon promoting the effective use of IT within the university, offering support to lecturers in the development of new modules and facilitating communication between students and staff in this process. I also created a new departmental website, co-ordinating the submission of contributions from a large team, in addition to creating original content on Inquiry-based learning for publication online and in numerous university publications. I was also the undergraduate representative for a university ‘SeeChange’ project examining how Web2.0 tools could be utilised to promote learning in higher education.
